Laura Gill is a British born choreographer and former professional dancer, renowned for creating large-scale, impactful movement experiences. With a career that spans global television broadcasts, live events, and award-winning ceremonies, Laura brings vision, precision, and cultural storytelling to every project.
ABOUT
Laura's vast choreographic experience include some of the most high-profile global events: the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Ceremonies, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic & Paralympic Ceremonies, and the visually striking Fête des Vignerons 2019 in Switzerland. She has also created work for commercial campaigns such as Adidas’ 2018 The Answer in the UK, as well as the groundbreaking Opening Ceremonies for the Saudi Arabia Games in 2022 and 2023.
Laura played a role in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee parade in 2022, and recently choreographed the opening of One Bangkok in Thailand, staging and collaborating with international artists Calum Scott, Loren Allred, and PP Krit.
Her portfolio also includes high-profile football ceremonies where she has worked closely with headline talent. These include the African Football League Opening Ceremony with Alikiba, the FIFA Club World Cup 2023 with Busta Rhymes and Swedish House Mafia, and the UEFA Champions League Final PEPSI Kick-Off Shows for 2023 with Anita & Burna Boy, 2024 with Lenny Kravitz, and most recently the 2025 edition with Linkin Park.
Before transitioning into choreography, Laura enjoyed a successful career as a commercial dancer, performing with global artists including Pink, Gwen Stefani, Kanye West, Katy Perry, George Michael, Rod Stewart, Geri Halliwell, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. Her television and award show appearances include the MTV EMAs, BRIT Awards, The Royal Variety Show, and The X Factor UK.
Whether directing a cast of thousands in a stadium or working intimately with a dozen dancers on stage, her work is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and the transformative power of movement.
Laura’s deep understanding of both stage and camera choreography continues to make her
a trusted creative for productions worldwide.
TEACHING
Laura has taught and choreographed across continents, with projects in Australia, Indonesia, India, Switzerland, UAE, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Ukraine, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Algeria, Tanzania, and her native country the UK.
